George has been with the Gallery since its establishment in 2003.
Since then Gallery223 has developed a reputation for art excellence with art lovers and collectors throughout British Columbia and Western Canada. George values both the client and artist relationships established, as they have helped make Gallery223 successful and a destination. Gallery223 prides itself on its broad art offerings and superb custom framing expertise and results.

Diana Dunnett - Framing Manager
Diana joined the Gallery in 2006. She began framing in the early 1980's in a PPFA (Professional Picture Framer's Association) acredited shop where she learned that 'conserving' and 'preserving' a piece of artwork is just as important as the final appearance.
Specializing in memorabilia and object framing, her many years of experience, attention to detail, and personalized consultation assures that the final framing choices are the correct ones for each and every client.

Karl Robideau - Gallery Manager
Karl has recently joined the gallery and has previous experience with a large international art gallery as a gallery manager, art lecturer and auctioneer.
Karl has extensive knowledge about the international art market, but is most passionate about the art community that Vancouver Island has to offer.

Paula Madziya - Gallery Consultant
Paula joined the gallery team in 2007. She comes from a family of designers and both amateur and professional artists.
Although most of her creative energy is directed towards her teaching career, she still finds time to sketch architectural details of buildings.

Larry Friesen - Artist & Consultant
In addition to being an artist who is represented in Gallery223, Larry spends a portion of his time assisting clients with their art collections. His passion and energy for art are a benefit to the team at Gallery223.
His artworks are on display at the gallery and have also been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions, where he has received both "Award of Excellence" and "Jurors Choice" awards.
